ที่ตั้ง : ตั้งอยู่เมือง Nottingham ทางด้านทิศเหนือของ London

สนามบินที่สะดวกในการเดินทาง: London Heathrow Airport และนั่งรถไฟต่อไปยังเมือง Nottingham ใช้เวลาประมาณสองชั่วโมง

University of Nottingham เป็นมหาวิทยาลัยชื่อดังที่มีขนาดใหญ่เป็นอันดับที่ 5 ของประเทศอังกฤษ นอกจากนี้ University of Nottingham ยังเป็นสถาบันที่อยู่ในเครือ Russell Group หรือก็คือกลุ่มเครือของมหาวิทยาลัยที่มีชื่อเสียงในด้านงานวิจัยระดับโลก University of Nottingham เองก็ติดอยู่ในอันดับที่ 21 จากมหาวิทยาลัยกว่า 100 แห่งทั่วทั้งประเทศอังกฤษ โดย The Complete University Guide League Table 2017 จึงแสดงให้เห็นได้ว่าเป็นมหาวิทยาลัยชื่อดังอีกแห่งของประเทศอังกฤษด้วยเช่นกัน

International Foundation Year 

โปรแกรม International Foundation Year ที่ The University of Nottingham เป็นหลักสูตรสำหรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติ รวมถึงนักศึกษาไทยที่ต้องการเรียนต่อระดับปริญญาตรีที่ประเทศอังกฤษ เนื่องจากการศึกษาระดับมัธยมศึกษาของประเทศไทยใช้เวลาเรียนน้อยกว่าประเทศ อังกฤษ 1 ปี นักศึกษาไทยจึงถูกกำหนดให้ต้องเรียนหลักสูตร Foundation 1 ปีก่อนเพื่อปรับความรู้  ทั้งนี้ไม่ได้ทำให้เสียเวลาเรียนแต่อย่างใด เพราะมหาวิทยาลัยของอังกฤษใช้เวลาเรียนในระดับปริญญาตรีเพียง 3 ปีเท่านั้น

หลักเกณฑ์ในการรับสมัคร

• จบมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 ด้วยเกรดเฉลี่ย 3.00
• IELTS 5.5 (at least 4.5 in all skills) สำหรับ Business, Law and Social Sciences และ Science
• IELTS 5.5 (at least 5.0 in all skills) สำหรับ Engineering and Physical Sciences
