การสอบ UCAT และ BMAT เพื่อเตรียมศึกษาต่อในด้านแพทย์ศาสตร์ที่ประเทศอังกฤษ
สวัสดีครับวันนี้พี่คิดจาก EFL UK จะมาให้ข้อมูลการสอบ UCAT และ BMAT ที่สำคัญกับน้องๆ โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งสำหรับน้องๆทุกคนที่สนใจจะเรียนต่อด้านแพทย์ศาสตร์ที่ประเทศอังกฤษครับ เพราะน้องๆจำเป็นต้องใช้ผลคะแนนของการสอบนี้สำหรับยื่นสมัครเข้าเรียนแพทย์ในมหาวิทยาลัยที่ประเทศอังกฤษ ซึ่งในแต่ละการสอบจะมีความแตกต่างอย่างไร น้องๆตามมาอ่านต่อได้เลยครับ..
UCAT (The UK Clinical Aptitude Test) หรือ BMAT (The Biomedical Admissions Test) จะขึ้นอยู่กับมหาวิทยาลัยที่นักเรียนสมัคร ว่าต้องการแต่ละมหาวิทยาลัยจะเลือกใช้ UCAT หรือ BMAT ดังนั้นน้องๆทุกคนที่ต้องการจะเรียนต่อด้านแพทย์ศาสตร์ควรจะเช็คกับมหาวิทยาลัยก่อนเพื่อเตรียมตัวสอบให้ตรงตามที่มหาวิทยาลัยกำหนด สำคัญอย่างยิ่งที่ น้องๆต้องทำการลงทะเบียนเพื่อสอบ UCAT or BMAT ในขณะที่เรียน A-Level ปีแรก (AS) ระหว่างเดือนพฤษภาคมถึงกันยายน เนื่องจากที่สำหรับนักเรียนแพทย์มีจำนวนจำกัด น้องๆจะต้องมีผลสอบดังกล่าวก่อนการยื่นใบสมัครผ่าน UCAS การยื่นใบสมัคร UCAS นั้นต้องทำในปีสุดท้าย (A2) โดยมีกำหนดส่งใบสมัครสาขาแพทย์ภายในวันที่ 15 October ของทุกปี
เป็นการสอบวัดระดับทัศนคติ อารมณ์และความสามารถพิเศษสำหรับนักเรียนที่สนใจจะศึกษาต่อในด้านแพทย์ และทันตแพทย์ในประเทศอังกฤษ ซึ่งนักเรียนจะต้องยื่นผลคะแนน UCAT นี้ให้ควบคู่ไปกับตัวผลการเรียน Transcript และการสอบสัมภาษณ์

จัดสอบโดย British Council คือการสอบเฉพาะทางสำหรับผู้ที่ต้องการเข้าศึกษาต่อในสาขาการแพทย์ สัตวแพทย์ ซึ่งจัดทำโดย Cambridge Assessment
การสอบ BMAT ใช้เวลา 2 ชั่วโมง ประกอบด้วย 3 ส่วน
- ส่วนที่ 1 ความถนัด และทักษะ 60 นาที (ข้อสอบปรนัย)
- ส่วนที่ 2 ความรู้และการประยุกต์ด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ 30 นาที (ข้อสอบปรนัย)
- ส่วนที่ 3 งานเขียน 30 นาที (ข้อสอบบรรยาย)
วิธีสมัครสอบ:
- กรุณาส่งเอกสารพร้อมหลักฐานการสมัครด้วยตนเองที่ British Council สาขา Siam Square
- ใบสมัครที่กรอกครบถ้วน
- รูปถ่ายขนาด 2×2 นิ้ว
- สำเนาบัตรประชาชนหรือหนังสือเดินทางของผู้สมัคร
**ทางศูนย์จะรับใบสมัครในวันจันทร์-ศุกร์ 9.00-18.00**
- ชำระเงินค่าสอบผ่าน credit card/debit card (VISA or MasterCard) เท่านั้น ไม่รับเงินสด
