International Year Zero หรือ International Foundation Year
โปรแกรม International Year Zero หรือ International Foundation Year ที่ De Montfort University เป็นหลักสูตรสำหรับนักศึกษาต่างชาติ รวมถึงนักศึกษาไทยที่ต้องการเรียนต่อระดับปริญญาตรีที่ประเทศอังกฤษ เนื่องจากการศึกษาระดับมัธยมศึกษาของประเทศไทยใช้เวลาเรียนน้อยกว่าประเทศ อังกฤษ 1 ปี นักศึกษาไทยจึงถูกกำหนดให้ต้องเรียนหลักสูตร IYZ 1 ปีก่อนเพื่อปรับความรู้ เมื่อเรียนโปรแกรม IYZ จบก็จะสามารถต่อในระดับปริญญาตรีอีก 3 ปี
หลักเกณฑ์ในการรับสมัคร
- จบมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 5 GPA 2.50 หรือมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 6 GPA 2.00
- IELTS 5.5 or equivalent, with no single element less than 5.5
